Last updated: 3 June 2026

YourOS is a personal life management system built for Obsidian and Notion, created by Adriano Fontanari. This website (youros.adrianofontanari.com) is a static landing page that describes the system and allows visitors to download it. We collect personal data to the minimum necessary and with full respect for your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how, in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR 2016/679).

1. Data controller

The data controller is Adriano Fontanari.
For any request related to your personal data, write to: adriano.fontanari@gmail.com.

2. What data we process

a. Navigation and analytics data (only with your consent)

If you consent to the "analytics" category, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect, in aggregate and anonymous form: pages visited, device and browser type, visit duration, and approximate geographic origin. IP addresses are truncated/anonymised by Google. We do not profile users and we do not run advertising.

b. Download activity

The download buttons link directly to GitHub Releases. When you click them, GitHub may log your IP address and request headers in accordance with GitHub's Privacy Statement. We do not receive or store this data ourselves.

c. Fonts

This site does not load external fonts — all type is rendered using system fonts. No additional requests to third-party font providers are made.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

For details on which cookies we use and how to manage them, see the Cookie Policy. You can change your preferences at any time:

4. How long we keep data

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell or transfer your data. The only third party involved is Google (for analytics, if you consent), acting as an independent controller or processor for its own services.

6. Your rights

Under Arts. 15–22 GDPR you can at any time exercise the rights of: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, as well as withdrawal of consent. To do so write to adriano.fontanari@gmail.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

7. Changes

This policy may be updated. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of last update shown above.
